GEP Support Limited are proud of their training staff, all of our staff undertake an extensive training programme before they can start work. This is so we can ensure all of our staff are trained to the highest standard you can expect from GEP Support Limited.

Our employees are actively encouraged and supported to undertake personal development and gain qualifications to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or the QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework) Level 2 Diploma within 12 months of employment, if not already held, in health and social care.
All members of our team will receive full range of training in line with statutory requirements which will include training on:

- Health and Safety

- Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults / Whistle blowing
- Infection Control
- Effective Hand Hygiene
- Risk Assessments
- Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act (including DoLS)
- Dementia/Learning Disability Awareness
- Food Hygiene
- First Aid
- Fire Safety
- Palliative Care and End of Life
- Administration and prompting of Medication
Recruitment

Before candidates are employed by GEP Support Limited, they undergo a robust screening process. We strive to recruit not only experienced and skilled but also passionate and committed candidates. Our screening process involves carrying out various checks at all stages in the recruitment process and before a job offer can be confirmed. We will carry out the following checks:
- Verification of identity
- Right to work checks
- Employment history
- Two references, one of which must be the present/recent employer
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) checks
- Immunisation status
